C.Waï et Panoramic are pleased to announce the official launch since Friday, February 24, 2023 of the Jayli awards, the prestigious award ceremony for the best music actors on the African continent.

Côte d’Ivoire, a hub of African music, will host the Jayli Awards each year to promote excellence and support African artistic creation on the basis of rigorous technical criteria. This major annual event aims to be the continental reference for awards in terms of genre coverage, credibility and international influence, like the Grammys Awards and the Oscars in the United States. The idea is clearly to establish a bridge between Africas through music.

For this first edition, placed under the patronage of Mrs. Dominique OUATTARA, First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire, 23 trophies in competition and 1 trophy-tribute will be awarded after respectively the selective vote of a high-level pan-African jury composed in particular of producers and artists Pascal Lokua Kanza, David Tayorault, Didier Awadi, cultural journalists Claudy Siar, Robert Brazza, choreographer Georges Momboye, Boomplay General Manager Paola Audrey Ndengue, two more judges to be added and the public. For several weeks, the jury will evaluate the works in competition according to international standards. The revelation of the winners will take place on the evening of Friday, November 03, 2023 at the Auditorium of the Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire during a prestigious and cozy evening which will bring together outstanding figures and African celebrities from the continent. Beyond the distinction of the best of the past year, this ceremony is also intended to be festive with enticing musical interludes featuring African and international artists.
